In spite of all this, iOS 10 is an extremely popular update, already registering millions of downloads in the few short weeks it has been available. Packed full of features, some brand new and some updates to existing apps, iOS 10 offers something for every type of user.

iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak :

The only thing not on offer at the moment is an iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak [ext link] and right now we can’t even give you an estimated date for that to be released. First, the update is only just out and we really can’t expect Taig or Pangu to come up with a jailbreak overnight Second, the rate of knots at which Apple is updating the new firmware is slowing things down a little with the possibility that vulnerabilities are being patched up with every release.

We already know that iOS 10 contains vulnerabilities, or at least it did. When the new firmware was released in September, Luca Todesco produced a video of an iPad on iOS 10 jailbroken within a matter of days. when iOS 10.0.2  came out shortly afterwards, he came up with a photo of an iPhone 7 running Cydia iOS 10.0.2 [ext link] on the new firmware, again within a matter of days. The proof is on his Twitter account for all to see but, as usual, he will not be releasing those jailbreaks publicly.

In fact, those vulnerabilities have most likely already been patched but that doesn’t mean that a new jailbreak isn’t imminent. Both Taig and Pangu are working hard on every iOS version that is released and iOS 10.1.1 will be no different.

iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Release Date :

Right now, all we can advise you to do is sit tight and be patient, if you are already running PPHelper jailbreak on your iOS device, don’t update because you will lose the jailbreak and there is now no way of downgrading back to iOS 9.3.3 to reinstall the jailbreak. We do expect to hear some news from Taig or Pangu in the near future about an iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak but while we wait, follow us on Facebook and Subscribe to our free email newsletter so that we can send the updates and any new developments straight to your inbox.
