iOS 10.2.1 beta has now been released by Apple to developers, just a couple of days after dropping the final version of iOS 10.2 download [ext link] on us. While iOS 10.2 has some substantial changes in it, the latest iOS 10.2.1 beta download contains nothing more than bug fixes and enhancements. The release is available to paid Apple developers and will soon be released to those on the Public Beta program.

Can we Jailbreak iOS 10.2.1 ?
No, simply because at this stage it is only a beta version and, while there have been jailbreaks for beta firmware in the past, they are not stable and we wouldn’t advise you to install them. A jailbreak for iOS 10+ has proven to be somewhat elusive this time. We have become used to jailbreaks being released very quickly after a major iOS release but this time, it seems that Apple may just have gotten the upper hand.

Right now, the latest jailbreak is PPHelper for iOS 9.2 to iOS 9.3.3 on 64-bit devices but that is a semi-untethered jailbreak and requires reloading every time your device is rebooted. However, Luca Todesco, Italian hacker and developer, has come up with a way to automatically reactivate the jailbreak with a tool based on the original JailbreakMe tool – you can find instructions on how to do that at the link provided. For anyone that has updated beyond iOS 9.3.3, there is no way to jailbreak and no way to downgrade as Apple no longer signs that firmware.
iOS 10.2.1 Jailbreak Release Date :
We have seen teasers of iOS 10.2.1 jailbreak [ext link] but none of them have come to anything and, more than likely, the vulnerabilities used have already been patched, given the number of updates that Apple has released since iOS 10 came out in September. We also have to figure two more things into the equation here , Apple’s Bug Bounty Program and the news from Luca Todesco that iOS 10.2 is going to provide jailbreak teams with something of a problem to jailbreak because there are so many security updates in it, there is little left for the teams to break into.
Right now, in terms of an iOS 10.2.1 jailbreak , all we can do is suggest that you remain patient and hang on to PPHelper jailbreak if you are using it.
