Despite getting off to a rocky start when Evasi0n was first released, Evad3rs are now on top of things and are keeping the utility fully updated to fix issues that arise. The same goes with Apple. Recently iOS 7.0.6 was released to fix a serious security issue that was detected, along with iOS 6.1.6 to fix the same issue on iOS 6 devices.
P0sixspwn was updated to jailbreak the new iOS version, as was Evasi0n 7, almost immediately. Those of you that have not yet updated to the new versions should do so immediately even if you do not intend to jailbreak.
The releases fix an SSL security flaw that left devices vulnerable to a Man-in-the-Middle attack and all users should update their devices with immediate effect.
