The release of the iOS 7 Gold Master version on September 10th put us on the home straight. The official, public version is scheduled to start releasing on 18th September, which brings us one step closer to an iOS 7 untethered jailbreak solution for the firmware.

Evasion Jailbreak on iOS 7 News
Team evad3rs are now taking a closer look at iOS 7 to test out their exploits – Apple has managed, possibly unwittingly, to patch a few of them with the Beta releases and the team now needs to know how many, if any, of the remaining ones will work with the new firmware.
The tests are being carried out on newer devices, although the release of the iPhone 5S with a 64-bit processor will throw another spanner in the works. However, that will be tested once it has been released, later on this month.
Don’t get too excited just yet, though. There is still a lot of work to be done on the iOS 7 jailbreak and this is in no way, shape or form, even a hint that the release is close. It isn’t, and won’t be for some time. While the developers have been hard at work during the last 3 months, testing out the beta releases, this is now the beginning of what could be weeks, perhaps months of work in developing the jailbreak. Don’t forget, it took 5 months for an iOS 6 jailbreak to be released after the firmware went public.

Hopefully, this one won’t take so long but don’t get your hopes up just yet. However, it is nice to see that the developers have not moved on to other projects but are still working away to give Apple consumers what they want.
